The National Irrigation Administration Region VIII conducts COA Exit Conference on February 27, 2025 at NIA VIII Training Center, Marasbaras, Tacloban City.
This is in line with the COA Auditors' financial audit for the CY 2024 operations of NIA Region VIII. This conference is essential for discussing audit observations and recommendations. It provides the auditee with an opportunity to clarify or comment on these observations, aiming to enhance the agency's financial operations and management.
Present at the conference were COA auditors, led by OIC Regional Supervising Auditor Cornelia P. Abella. The team included Lesly G. Rivas-Suganob, State Auditor II and In-Charge of Office; Mark Joseph Sampilo, State Auditor II; and Zita A. Lauron, State Auditor I, along with Rosario Rissa T. De Guzman, State Auditor III Patricia Mae R. Gutierrez, CPA State Auditor I, COA auditors from the province of Samar.
Also in attendance were officials and employees from NIA Region VIII, headed by Regional Manager Engr. Jaime C. De Jesus.
