On April 4, 2025, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VIII convened for the Exit Conference of the Operations Audit conducted by the Central Office Internal Audit Services (IAS) from March 12 to April 4, 2025, at the NIA Training Center, Marasbaras, Tacloban City.
The conference discussed the audit observations and findings, exchanged insights for continuous improvement in the agency’s operations. The audit focused on evaluating the inputs, outputs, outcomes, and process of project implementation in NIA Region VIII for timely and efficient irrigation services to the farmers.
The activity was attended by Regional Manager Jaime C. De Jesus, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Jojo A. Arceño, BLNLSIMO Manager Conrado M. Samson, EWSIMO Manager Rizalina B. Gallarde, NSIMO Manager Georden A. Lemsic, NIA Region VIII employees, and the IAS Operations Audit Team, led by Janice T. Luyun, Team Leader, Lloyd B. Caparro, and Rey Isaac S. Rosario, together with their Section Chief Wenonah J. Dela Vega.
