Acting IMO Manager of NIA - Eastern-Western Samar IMO, Engr. Rizalina B. Gallarde paid courtesy call to Engr. Herminio V. Gulmatico, the District Engineer of Samar District Engineering Office, DPWH VIII, June 04, 2024.
The highlight of the meeting was to discuss the List of 2025 Proposed Projects under the NIA-DPWH Convergence Program as enumerated in the endorsement letter of Hon. Reynolds Michael Tan, Congressman of the 2nd District of Samar to the DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan during NIA-DPWH Convergence Meeting at the House of Representatives last May 20-22, 2024.
Engr. Gulmatico positively expressed support on this initiative and assured that he will conduct a separate meeting with his Planning Team to validate the proposed projects. NIA assured Engr. Gulmatico to also assist in the leg works anytime deemed necessary.This collaboration plans to provide climate-resilient and sustainable projects to help the farmers boost their agricultural productivity.
